Oils & Butters
Our oils and butters have been thoughtfully selected based on their properties that benefit your skin; no fillers are added. We use naturally- sourced ingredients that are non-irritating and mimic the oils our bodies produce. Our products are soothing, healing, hydrating, and promote healthy skin and a glowing appearance.
Fragrance
Fragrance oils used in our products are safe for the intended use approved by the manufacturer.
Sodium Hydroxide
Production of oil-based soap requires the use of sodium hydroxide. A small amount, based on FDA guidelines, is mixed with natural ingredients to make our soaps. We inspect soaps during production to identify formulation issues that could potentially make a product unsafe. We discard any batches found with unsafe formulation issues to ensure soaps sold meet our standards.
Colorants & Micas
Cosmetic-grade oxides and micas, natural colorants, clays, non-toxic, and safe to burn colorants. Plastic glitters are not used in our products.
Waxes
Funky Fresh Emporium sources Vegan waxes that contain no animal-derived ingredients. Waxes are made in small batches by combining oils and butters with emulsified wax so they are gentle and safe for your skin.
Wax melts:
Paraffin, Palm, Soy
Exfoliants
Cosmetic-grade clays, acids, and other natural-sourced ingredients.
